The 3" v-band purge caps can be used on all 3" v-band flanges. Not only are they a simple back purging solution, they also act as a heat sink. They pull heat from the V-band flange, eliminating warping of the flange, so they stay nice and flat. Simply clamp them on, hook up your hose, and your ready to start back purging. Doesn't get any easier then that.
 
Now come standard with internal diffuser, to distrubute the argon smoothly and more evenly through the tube/pipe. You can see in the pictures, a smoke test we did with and without a diffuser. Its smooths out the argon flow and spreads it evenly exactly where you need it. 
 
They can be used for exhaust systems, intercooler pipes, or any other tube/pipe you are fabricating thats with in the 3" v-band flange. Can also be used for sanitary welding, the uses are endless. Time to keep the aluminum foil in your kitchen where it belongs and start saving yourself time and money in wasted argon gas and maximize profitability.
